THE COLLECTOR

My goal is to offer my clients excellent examples of paintings, objects, silver, textiles and folk art that offer aesthetic pleasure at fair prices for long term investments. Each object is hand selected and reflects me as the buyer.


I began collecting objects in my early teen years. I grew up on a large farm in Upstate New York. I was surrounded by incredible architecture and objects, not to mention a spectacular agricultural landscape. This was without a doubt, the start to my passion. Over the next two decades, I began focusing on early American folk art and objects of virtue. I really love any object of any period that radiates simplicity, expression and presence.


My graduate work is in counseling and community connectedness. This reflects the art we live with and how our material culture is an extension of where we live and where we have lived.


Currently, I raise Champion English Lop Rabbits and show them throughout the United States. I also have a small layer flock of chickens, a pet cow named Deilhia and spend my free time scouring auctions, estate sales and private acquisitions.
